Iraq War

Replacing a gas guzzling SUV with a Prius will save the environment 560 gallons of fuel per year.  An F15 fighter burns that much fuel in two minutes of takeoff.  Hybrid cars aren't enough, this Earth Day we have to rethink a foreign policy based on endless war.

As veterans we believe the pre-emptive war against Iraq was based on false and misleading information, and that the best support we can show for our troops is to bring them home as soon as possible.

A few things to know:

bullet51% of our national budget is for military based spending and the portion of the national debt created by previous military spending
bullet300,000 veterans go homeless each year in the U.S.
bullet24,000 people worldwide die daily from chronic malnutrition
bullet14,000 people worldwide die daily for lack of clean water
