With the support of Veterans for Peace Sheboygan, Friends of Peace Park Sheboygan are participating in the 13th biannual Global Art Project for Peace exchange. At their April 13th 2018 general meeting, Mayor Mike Vandersteen accepted an invitation to add his name, along with others of the community, by signing the back of a banner made for the exchange.  See the photos here.

The partnered recipient for the exchange is the WHAM Community Art Gallery in Sun City, Arizona.  92 countries are participating during the week of April 23 - 30th, 2018.  People, groups, and organizations will create art expressions of peace and love to touch the hearts and consciousness of the thousands of people who will experience them.
