We gathered at Fountain Park during the afternoon of March 18th with our
"Wall of Remembrance", a ten foot high structure, each of the four sides holding
the names of US war dead and their date of death. Each name was
handwritten on a tongue depressor, many written by local high schoolers.
To get a perspective on the number of people..... in the second year of the war
the count was so high that a 4'x8' sheet of plywood couldn't hold them all, so
we had to add a 2' section to the top. Names were read aloud for both the
US service people, and Iraqi civilians killed during the war.
